Recycled rubber speed bumps

Both speed bump profiles we sell are made from recycled rubber: the 2.4 in heavy-duty unit is steel-plate reinforced and rated for 176,000 lb, and the 3 in modular unit is UV stable for car traffic. Recycled rubber flexes instead of cracking, bolts down and can be relocated. Pricing is $260–$520 (modular) or $360–$660 (heavy-duty) per 12 ft lane plus freight, with a 5-year commercial warranty.

Material story for procurement

A recycled-rubber product is an easy line item for sustainability reporting; ask us for the product data sheet.

Flexes, doesn't crack

Rubber absorbs impacts that shatter rigid plastic in cold weather.

Relocate instead of replace

Bolt-down modules move with layout changes rather than becoming waste.

Frequently asked

Are your speed bumps made of recycled rubber?

Yes, both profiles are recycled rubber; the heavy-duty unit adds internal steel plates for its 176,000 lb rating.

Is recycled rubber as durable as plastic?

For vehicle traffic it is generally more forgiving: rubber flexes under load where plastic can crack, especially in cold weather.

How long does installation take?

Bolt-down install takes two people about 30 minutes per 12 ft lane: position the modules, mark the bolt holes, hammer-drill the asphalt or concrete, and torque the anchors flush. No paving contractor and no cure time.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. Every kit is in stock in the USA and ships by LTL freight to all 48 contiguous states. Pallet and container pricing is available for volume orders, and freight is quoted to your ZIP code.
